Paying with EBT at Di Bruno Bros.: In-Store and Instacart

At Di Bruno Bros., we are committed to making our gourmet offerings accessible to as many customers as possible. We understand the importance of convenient payment options, and we're happy to share our current policy regarding Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) payments.

EBT payments are accepted for eligible food purchases at all Di Bruno Bros. physical store locations. This includes both SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits and, where applicable by state regulations, EBT Cash.

You can also use your EBT card for eligible Di Bruno Bros. orders placed through the Instacart app. This provides a convenient way to get your favorite gourmet items delivered right to your door.

How to use your EBT card in-store:

1.  Shop for eligible food items: EBT benefits can be used for most food items, including fresh produce, dairy, meats, and pantry staples. Non-food items (like hot prepared foods, alcohol, or gift cards) are typically not eligible.Our associates can assist you if you have questions about specific product eligibility.

   
   

2. Present your EBT card at checkout: Our cashiers are trained to process EBT transactions.
3. Enter your PIN: You will be prompted to enter your confidential four-digit PIN on the keypad to authorize your purchase.

How to use your EBT card for Instacart orders:

1. Open the Instacart app: Make sure you have the latest version of the Instacart app downloaded on your mobile device.
2. Select Di Bruno Bros. as your store.
3. Add eligible items to your cart: Only SNAP-eligible items will be covered by your EBT benefits.
4. At checkout, add your EBT card as a payment method.You'll be able to enter your EBT card number and PIN within the Instacart app.

   
   

5. Split your payment if needed: If your order includes non-eligible items or exceeds your EBT balance, you can use another form of payment (credit/debit card) to cover the remaining balance.

Combining payment methods:

Whether in-store or through Instacart, you are welcome to combine your EBT payment with other forms of payment, such as credit cards, debit cards, or cash, if your total purchase exceeds your EBT balance or if you are purchasing non-eligible items.
