How do I add a gift message to my order?Updated 25 days ago
Nothing pairs better with world-class cheese than a thoughtful message. We make it easy to include a personalized note with any order:
In your Cart: Before you head to checkout, look for the "Add a Gift Message" button.
Compose Your Note: A window will appear where you can type your message.
Preview & Save: Once you’ve written your note, click "Save." You will see a confirmation that your message is attached to your order summary.
What does the recipient receive?
Depending on the shipping options selected, your recipient will receive your message in one or two ways:
Printed Gift Note: A physical note printed on the bottom of the packing slip included inside the shipping box.
Digital Gift Experience: In addition to the physical note, you may have the option to send a digital preview. This allows your recipient to "virtually unwrap" your message via email or text the moment the package is delivered or at a scheduled time of your choosing.
Is there a character limit?
To ensure your message looks elegant and fits we have a 250-character limit.
Will the price be shown on the receipt?
No. When you include a gift message, we automatically treat the order as a gift. We include a "Blind Packing Slip" that lists the delicious items in the box and your personal message, but all pricing, billing information, and totals are hidden.
Can I add a message after I’ve placed my order?
Our packing team works quickly to ensure freshness!
If your order hasn't shipped: Contact us immediately at [email protected] or 215.599.1363. We will do our best to manually add your message to the system.
If your order is already in transit: While we cannot add a physical note to a box that has already left our facility, we can often send a Digital Gift Message to your recipient’s email so they still know the gift is from you.
Can the recipient send a "Thank You" back?
Yes! If a digital delivery option was used, your recipient will have the option to send a digital "Thank You" note directly back to you through the notification they received.
